ServiceNow Version Timeline - Release Cheat Sheet

When I got started in ServiceNow, I was constantly hearing about the different versions. One coworker would talk about how he 'started in Kingston', while another would mention that she 'started in Fuji'.

I hadn't been around the industry for long, so it was always difficult to conceptualize what each release did and when it was released.

To make it easier, I compiled this list to help quickly locate:

  • ServiceNow Versions and Release Names
  • Release dates
  • Key features

Quick Note: Until the Aspen release in 2011, ServiceNow named each version after the season and year in which it was released. Below, we begin with the Aspen release. You can find the 2004-2011 releases after the named releases.

Credit to Jace Benson, who had most of this data readily available on his site: https://sndocs.jace.pro
